About Me

Christina Juliff Councellor Psychotherapist MBACPI began my career as a therapist in 1987 in a voluntary organisation, working with individuals. I then trained with and worked for Relate, giving me the experience of working with couples. I have been a Visiting Therapist at the Nottingham Psychotherapy Unit.

Having gathered a wealth of knowledge and experience, I felt confident enough to set up my own private practice many years ago, offering counselling and therapy to individuals and couples and supervision to other therapists and trainee therapists.
In addition to the above, I have:-

  • been a Mental Health Worker in statutory services for more than 25 years
  • trained volunteers for Cruse Bereavement Service
  • taught Counselling Skills in colleges
  • given training in eating disorders
  • facilitated many groups

I have obtained numerous qualifications over the years and therefore will list just a few, all of which were obtained in the 1990s. I am always adding to my knowledge base through training, in part because it is a requirement for continuing to be Accredited with BACP but also because I want to be as effective a therapist as I can.
